Buying Glasses Online at GlassesUSA.com

When it came to buying my latest pair of  glasses, I thought I would be better off going to an actual store to try the glasses on before making a decision.  While shopping at the store, I found this one semi-rimless frame that I really liked and at the last minute, I picked up a different frame and asked Grant, who was looking for his own pair, what he thought.  He gave me a typical response. “They look nice,” he told me.

I put on my first choice.

“Well, what do you think of this pair?” I asked.

“They look nice.”

Despite liking the first pair, I made the split decision to just go ahead and get the second  pair. Once I got them home (about a week later)and wore them, I decided they were too small for my face,  and that I should have gone with my gut and bought the first pair – so much for shopping in the store!

Maybe I would have been better off buying my glasses online (or shopping by myself)! At GlassesUSA.com, you can shop at your convenience from home.  What about trying the glasses on? Well, I found out I can upload my own photo and try every last pair on if I want. I really like the frame that I am wearing in the photo below.

The photo is mine, however the glasses frames belong to Glassesusa.com. These are Semi-Rimless, Twister Red and they cost $57, which is less than half the price of the frames that I just bought.  With this semi-rimless frame, it hardly looks like I am wearing glasses.

I might be stuck with my pair for a while, but knowing I can “try on”  the frames online and save money, I will consider GlassesUSA.com for a future purchase.

Thanks for sharing this. I bought my first pair of glasses last year and the price was INSANE! It didn’t help that I need bifocals, and I wanted the lineless ones (vanity on my part but I’m allowed!).

I want to get another pair this year but I need to find a more cost-effective alternative. I’ll definitely check them out.
