I received Aroma Foundry Essential oils in exchange for this post. Opinions expressed are my own.
I was introduced to essential oils last year. I went to a party to learn about using essential oils and was so impressed, I purchased some oils as well. I used them for a while, in fact used up my favorite, and haven’t really been consistent with using them since.
Right along the time I was contacted by Aroma Foundry to check out some of their essential oils, I happen to be watching more Dr. Axe videos. Dr. Axe is a big believer in the healing properties of all natural essential oils. The combination of these events has sparked my interest in essential oils again. I am excited to use the Aroma Foundry Essential Oils.
Aroma Foundry Essential Oils Review
Upon a visit to their website, I learned that Aroma Foundry essential oils are hand-bottled in small batches right here in the US (California). Each oil is 100% pure. The oils are derived from plants in their native habitats. The average price for a 5 ml bottle is $9.98 – a reasonable price for 100% pure oils in my humble opinion.
These oils can be diffused into the air via an aroma therapy diffuser and they may also be blended with a carrier oil (like liquid coconut oil) and applied topically.
I was impressed with how each bottle was carefully packaged and inserted into individual boxes. This ensured the bottles’ safety during shipping. All bottles arrived safe and sound.
My absolute favorite essential oil to diffuse is lemon. The Aroma Foundry lemon essential oil smells delicious! I like to diffuse this in the kitchen. It’s such a joyful smell. I love it! I will also add a few drops to the dishwasher before running the dishes to freshen up the dishwasher.
If you are just starting to get into essential oils, you will quickly learn that each oil has many uses. Lemon essential oil has anti-infection, astringent, detoxifying, antiseptic, disinfectant, and antifungal properties. It can cleanse toxins from any part of the body. I wanted to make an essential oil blend to be applied topically featuring the lemon oil with two other oils that could help relieve the soreness from the pinched nerve in my neck.
According to my research, Rosemary and Patchouli Essential Oils are not only detoxifying, but they are both recommended as oils that can relieve muscle pain and inflammation.
So, I created my own blend using these oils. 5 drops Rosemary, 5 drops Patchouli and 10 drops lemon oil into a roller bottle. Next, I added a liquid coconut oil as the carrier oil.
I had my son roll this on his hands and give me a back-of-the-neck rub. It was very soothing and this combination of oils smells very nice. It has a minty, lemony smell. I will be using this daily on my neck, which is certainly getting better due to physical therapy and time.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Aroma Foundry offered Cedarwood Essential Oil as well. Cedarwood is one of my favorite smells. I love diffusing the Aroma Foundry Cedarwood. Cedarwood has so many health benefits, it can be used for eczema, dry scalp, reducing inflammation in the joints, a deodorizer, and it has antiseptic properties.
I have a few more oils from Aroma Foundry to try out. I look forward to doing more research and coming up with new formulas. Did you know that a Rosemary, Lavender and Cedarwood essential oil blend can help grow out your eyelashes? I have to try that next!
