I received this item for the purpose of this review. Opinions expressed are my own.
The hot weather has finally kicked in here in North Central MA and it feels like summer is on its way. Our spring was cold and damp, so we are all ready for the nice weather to stay put! I have three potted plants in my doorway that are doing fantastic, despite the cold spring. I hope that they continue to thrive as the weather gets warmer. When it comes to plants, I am not opposed to the artificial type – (talk about low maintenance!) So when Hedgescapes.com inquired about a review, I was certainly interested.
Hedgescapes Preserved Boxwood Topiary Review
I selected the Preserved Boxwood Topiary for my review. This preserved plant is 20.8″ high. It is measured from the base of the pot to the top of the plant. It measures 8″ across at the widest point. If you put your nose right up to it, it actually smells (to me) like hay – as in hay is for horses. This is actually a nice smell as far as I am concerned. It’s hay without the hay fever. The potted plant is lush with different green tones for a realistic look. Here is how the little leaves look up close.
Where to display this new topiary? It’s not quite big enough to display outside with my hanging plants.
In fact, it is better suited for the indoors. I have it tucked next to my other plants. It’s hard to tell it is artificial. It adds a nice dimension to my cluster of plants. The pot is a great match for the floor too! I am impressed with the quality and care in-which this artificial plant was hand-crafted.
