Shiloh Farms All-Natural Organic Foods Review

I tried the Shiloh Farms Organic Cranberries, Sour Red Cherries, and Pistachios on my salad. shilohfarms5

The Shiloh Farms Organic Unsulphured Cranberries are dried and sweetened with organic cane sugar. The cranberries are certified USDA organic and are packaged in a gluten-free facility (that may be important to those with gluten intolerance.) These were pretty large, plump and sweet – great for adding a little sweet treat to a salad.

About Shiloh Farms Organic Cranberries

Shiloh Farms Organic Unsulphured Cranberries are packed with nutrients like antioxidants and  loads of nutrients along with their uniquely tart and tangy taste, which is supplemented with Organic cane sugar and Organic sunflower oil. These are $6.29 for a 6 oz. bag.

The Organic Sour Cherries are also sweetened (Despite the “sour” in the product title.) I went through a phase where I used dried cherries in my salad daily. These are excellent – full of sweet, yet a bit tart cherry flavor.

Bright red in color, pitted and ready to eat, Organic Sour, tart, Red sweetened Cherries are a delicious snack. The full-flavor of this cherry is maintained when used for cooking or baking. These are $11.99 for a 6 oz. bag.

While I did enjoy the Pistachios on my salad, these are delicious right out of the bag. The Shiloh Farms Pistachios are roasted, salted and in-shell. These are one of the lowest fat nuts and are great for snacking. I’ve been on a kick lately where I grab a 1/2 cup of these for a snack. I’ve read that the act of removing the shells is supposed to reduce stress!

The next product that I tried was the EE Sprouted 100% Whole Grain Spelt Cereal. This hot cereal is a bit chewy and has a nice nutty flavor. Each 1/3 cup serving has five grams of dietary fiber. This spelt cereal is made with sprouted grains. I’ve been having this every morning since receiving this box. It is very good and filling.

Those pistachios look pretty tasty. They are easily my most favorite nut in the world (well, except for my husband, but that’s not related to Shiloh Farms products 😉 ). Thanks for the info. on these, I really haven’t seen/heard of them, but they look worth seeking out. The sour cherries sound delicious to me.

I would really like to try the organic date sugar as I’m trying hard to find a sweetener that my family likes to replace traditional sugar. All of the spelt products are attractive, too, as I’ve started substituting spelt for flour in most recipes; the whole grain spelt cereal looks like a great alternative to oatmeal, too.
