Cracker Jack Snacks Review

My mother and I both love Cracker Jack snacks. I fondly remember her buying the small boxes of them for our occasional treat. I would eat them slowly one kernel at a time to savor that sweet caramel coated popcorn. Back in those days, the prizes were often temporary tattoos. I loved those! This is what they looked like.

My Mom still enjoys Cracker Jack snacks today and commented on how she loves the peanuts and always wants more peanuts.  Me too! Well, I have some great news for all of us who love the original Cracker Jack snack peanuts and always longed for just a few more in each box. The 4 and 8 oz. size bags now have more peanuts!

Knowing how much I love the Original Crack Jack snack, I was excited to try the two new flavors.

The new Butter Toffee flavored Cracker Jack snacks are delicious. The flavor is sweet and buttery. The big surprise to me was that these have only one gram of fat per serving – yet they taste so buttery and sinfully good. These do not contain peanuts.

The other new flavor is the Kettle Corn.

crackerjack3 Now I have to admit Kettle Corn is not my favorite, yet my experience with Kettle Corn has been limited to the microwave popcorn variety and I never really cared for that. However, I do like this new Cracker Jack brand Kettle Corn. It’s very sweet yet barely coated, so the texture is like regular popcorn that is sweet. While the Kettle Corn has more fat per serving than the other two Cracker Jack snacks, this sweet treat has two grams of fiber per serving. That’s a plus in my book!

Check out the new modernized prizes! These are classic stickers with fun facts and special codes that offer surprises online.
