She discussed emotional clutter also. Those negative voices in our head are really just emotional clutter. There is the younger part of us that needs love and reassurance. The emotional clutter goes right along with the physical clutter. Mind clutter? Same thing. I seem to have a lot of mind clutter. I believe it comes from being in front of some type of screen almost 24-7. I get all these thoughts about what I’m going to do or write about and they can be overwhelming sometimes.
Oh, and you probably heard this before, the extra weight that we carry is a form of clutter. The extra pounds are for “protection”. (Let me just say, I appear to be well protected.)
She also said something that I found interesting. “Gifts are awaiting you when you get rid of the clutter.” Gifts? Count me in. I love gifts.
She referred to a client who was a singer that was overwhelmed with clutter. Once she removed the clutter, she opened herself up to more singing opportunities for herself. It’s all about making space for opportunities to come forth. “Beautiful gifts are on the periphery waiting to greet you.”
