A personalized candle is such a great gift idea for the candle lover in your life. This is right up my alley because I love candles. What a great idea for a calorie-free Valentine’s Day gift too!

Creating a personalized candle on Lumnique couldn’t be any easier. It’s a five step process. First you select your intention, whether that be Mother’s Day, a birthday, anniversary, healing, love, or in my case, a harmonious home. Next, I selected my color and since I love green, I went with jade. The next step was to choose the fragrance, and there are plenty to choose from. I selected rustic woods, because I like pine, wood and outdoor type smells. My next choice was to select the type of gift set, standard or deluxe. I went with the deluxe set and finally I had the option to personalize it.

The candle arrived in a very nice box.

Here is how the contents looked. The candle is in a nicely shaped thick glass jar with a cover. The box contains a note about my personalized candle and a pack of long Lumnique matches.

The candle is really pretty. Here is how it looks burning.

There was one problem with this candle. The scent was off to me. The scent was supposed to be a combination of pine, bark and citrus for a” soothing spicy experience.” To me, I smelled citronella or lemon grass, but that’s it – no pine, wood or scents that reminded me of a walk in the woods. This was not what I had in mind. While I loved everything else about the candle, the scent was not right for me. I would have chosen cedar, but I missed it as a fragrance option. Oh well, maybe next time. So, consider all of the ingredients in each fragrance before making your selection, and you will be happy with a Lumnique candle.
