Mally Beauty Believable Bronzer Review

Now keep in mind, over here at Mom’s Own Words, we are very limited on our choice of models and our photography equipment may not be state-of-the art.

These pictures were taken yesterday. The one on the left, before applying the Believable Bronzer and the right picture shows the after. If you compare the background color of my wall, you will see that color is identical, and therefore the lighting for the pictures was as close to identical as possible.

I created that glow by using the lightest shade of bronzer available, which is most likely 2 shades darker than my natural fair skin tone. I applied  it to the following areas: I concentrated on the perimeter of my face, starting behind the ear, and worked down along the jawline. Then, I brushed the bronzer across the top of my forehead (along the hairline). As instructed, I lightly swept across the forehead, bridge of the nose, cheeks, and tip of the chin. To prevent my face from looking “muddy” or “dirty”, I applied  the pink blush on the apples of the cheeks, and a sweep of highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones. To be honest, I fixed my hair a bit too.

It will take some practice to perfect the look. For instance, I could probably do a better job with the highlighter, and add a tad more blush. Otherwise, I like it! I think it looks pretty natural and it’s easy to apply. It actually might help hide some wrinkles too. No need to keep those other bronzers in my make-up drawer, Mally is really onto something here – this one is a keeper.

Check out this video for how to apply the product.

About Believable Bronzer

Give your skin a naturally sun-kissed look with Mally’s Believable Bronzer. This powder trio creates the illusion of radiant beach skin – the look we all love, without the negative effects of tanning. Unlike traditional bronzers, there is no shimmer in Mally’s. Instead the bronzer works in tandem with a warm blush and a sheer shimmer. This allows you to apply color and highlights in specific areas of your face – just like the sun naturally does – and not all over. The result is beautiful, sun-kissed skin that looks naturally tan – but doesn’t require an aloe bath!

*Please note that this does not come with brushes*
