Over the weekend, at that party that I keep writing about (ref. my BJ’s Cake Boss Cake review and my Mediterranean Lentil Chip review.) my Dad measured my nephew Oliver who is in 9th grade. He is 6’2″ and claims he’s not even the tallest kid in his grade. I find that hard to believe! He towers over me and is still growing. I am only 5’6″.
For me, I remember being pretty tall in sixth grade and placed accordingly when it came to taking the class picture. That was short lived. Pun intended. I Googled it. 5’6″ is average for a woman and 5′ 11″ is average for a man.
How tall are you? Has your height (of lack-there-of) ever been an issue for you?

I used to feel funny for being short, but now I seem to not even be the shortest one at most places! I’m 5’2″.
My daughter is in grade 9 and is 5’9”.
WOW. Scary to think how tall he’ll end up LOL…Besides what are they feeding him… send it to my house!

I’m 5′ 7″ and think it’s just right. Tall enough to reach the top cupboards but not so tall that I bump my head on things.

Wowza – tall boy! I’m only 5’2″, so I am used to being one of the shortest people at most places. Love the look on his face, too! LOL!!
Well, that’s really tall! I’m 5’8.5″ and when I was younger people always used to remark about how tall I was, but I married into a family with all tall women, so it doesn’t seem out of the norm anymore.

Wow, he is really tall. You & I are the same height. It hasn’t mattered much, but I used to wish I was taller so I could be a model.
I’m only 5′ 4″ but most people think I’m taller than that because I usually wear 2 or 3″ heels. Andrew is around Dave’s height 5′ 11″ but Matthew is only about 5’7 or 5′ 8″.
