My sister-in-law Gisele has a nice little man-made pond in her yard. She also owns a nice new kayak and the boys tried kayaking for the first time over the Memorial Day weekend. They got the hang of it right off the bat.

Awesome! I always loved kayaking as kid, but I definitely haven’t done much of it as an adult, sad!
We’ve never been and with my coordination, we’d tip the thing! lol

I love kayaking – haven’t been in years, though. I wonder if we can find one that would hold a wiggly 4.5 year old kid?
I think kids are born knowing a lot of things including kayaking. Looks like he’s having a great time.
My husband is really trying to get us to go. I told him when the weather cools off a bit I’d love to try it! Looks like he had a great time!
Kayaks are now outselling canoes. They are great fun.

Looks like a fun time! We have a Canoe, but we have a little electric trolling motor for it (it’s actually called a scanoe because you can use a motor). I’ve never tried Kayaking, but I love White Water Rafting!

Great pictures of the boys! I have gone kayaking at my B-I-L’s house a few times. I went one time this summer with my S-I-L in the morning when the water was so calm and peaceful. It was so much fun!
