New Honey Maid Grahamfuls Filled Crackers Giveaway and Review 9/4

We’ve sampled all three of these new Grahamfuls and we each have our favorites. James loves the Banana Vanilla Creme, Ryan loves the Peanut Butter & Chocolate and I love the Peanut Butter. These remind me of Peanut Butter cookies that I used to have as a kid, it’s that creamy peanut taste in combo. with a slightly sweet graham “cracker” cookie crunch. The difference now is that these Grahamfuls contain whole grain (whole grain wheat flour) and that is a much better choice than the alternative refined white flour.

I have recently become concerned with artificial dyes in foods. Some of my online research indicates that red dye 40 found in every red processed food can cause behavioral problems in kids – it has even been linked to ADHD. I am more mindful of that when shopping for foods. I was thrilled to see that the Grahamfuls contain no artificial dyes. (Some cookies that aren’t even red contain them!)

The Grahamfuls are also individually wrapped (eight individually-wrapped pouches per box). Each large cookie has 120 calories. This is very helpful with serving size. It’s so easy to reach into a bag of cookies and go overboard. The individually wrapped cookies were very convenient for us on vacation last week. I just tossed them into the front pocket of my cooler and we had them as a treat after lunch on the beach.

I think a s’mores variety of the Grahamfuls would be a big hit also.I hope Honey Maid takes that under advisement!

One note, while the Grahamfuls contain no high fructose corn syrup, the ingredients do include sugar and corn syrup solids. Corn syrup, corn syrup solids, and high fructose corn syrup (as well ascrystalline fructose) are all made from corn, and bottom line, all are sugar.
