Life Colors Book Review

I listen to Talk Radio when I am in the car. I have a favorite talk radio station – 96.9 FM Boston Talks. One Friday on the Doug Meehan show, I heard him talking to his guest about aura colors. People were calling in and his guest, Pamala Oslie used her psychic abilities to reveal each caller’s aura colors over the phone just based on their hair and eye color. The callers were blown away. She was right each time.

So, I did some investigating, and that’s how I came to feature this book Life Colors on my blog. I had heard the concept that we all have an aura, however, I didn’t know anything about how auras consist of colors that match up with our personalities. Needless to say, I was fascinated.

Once I received the book, I took the quiz immediately. You can go online and take the quiz here. My quiz revealed that I am mostly Crystal, followed by Logical Tan, Sensitive Tan, Yellow with a bit of Blue and Violet.

So what does having a Crystal aura mean? It means I am an aura chameleon. My auras change depending on the people that I am connecting with at the time. Essentially, I can get along with anyone and the more I do that the more my personality changes. I also have a healing ability.

The book’s chapters are divided into specific types of colors: Physical Life Colors, Mental Life Colors, Emotional Life Colors and Combination Colors. Once you’ve determined your colors, the latter half of the book explores the different life color relationship combinations.

Interview with Pam Oslie

Pam was kind enough to set up a phone interview with me so that I could ask her to “read my colors.” Here is what she said about my aura colors -

It seems like you have Sensitive Tan, some Crystal, and Blue – and then I picked up a touch of Violet and Yellow in there. That could be because you have Crystal that takes on other colors.

What she had to say about Grant was very interesting. He thinks the whole idea is nonsense and didn’t want any part of it. Pam had no idea about that when she told me this about Grant.

He is either Logical Tan and Green; or Environmental Tan. They can seem similar. And it did feel like he might have a touch of suppressed Yellow – they’re stubborn too – especially when they’re wounded. He was tough to read because he put up a wall. And I don’t like to invade anyone’s space without their permission.

From reading the book, and having Pam read our aura colors, I concur that I am a Crystal and Grant is an Environmental Tan. It was interesting to read how he focuses on logic and data and that I am a more spiritual person. Yet, I have some Tan color too. Perhaps that is because I’ve taken on some of Grant’s colors. Essentially, we balance each other out.

If you are open to the concept of auras and would like to learn about your own and even your loved ones auras, this book is a wonderful place to start.
