Mabel’s Labels are custom labels used for identifying your child(rens) belongings. Mabel’s Labels Ultimate Back to School Combo Labels Review

My labeling system consists of running around at the last minute looking for a Sharpie marker (that actually works!) to mark things like clothing, back-packs and pencil boxes. Imagine my delight when I opened the pretty box of Mabel’s Labels created and wrapped with great care.

Ryan’s “skinny mini” labels are yellow with a bicycle icon and his “shoe labels” are red with the same icon. James has black “skinny minis” with a skull and crossbones and his shoe labels are also black with the same icon. Look out boys, I’m armed with some very cool labels this school year!

Not sure why I neglected to leave my sons’ last name off the labels, but I did. The school is so small, I am sure someone would eventually track down the correct Ryan if his water bottle (now labeled!) happened to be missing.

The boys have the same pair of flip flops and they are so close in size that they’ve often mixed up the pairs. I love Mabel’s shoe labels. There will be no mistake as which pair belongs to which child now. The shoe labels are water resistant. That will come in handy for when they wear these at the beach. Also, during the winter months, I can label their boots and sneakers that they change into at school.

Remember when I mentioned that Sharpie Marker?  Well here’s a fine example of how I found one that hardly worked and then found another and went over my son’s name. Classy eh? Compare that to Mabel’s cool looking label and my boys would say, “It’s game over sharpie!”

Finally, I have a shot of James back-pack with his cool skull and crossbones label.  I am so glad he thinks his labels are “cool” – he’s going on 11, so what was once cool can change to a “fail” overnight.

This combo pack also comes with small metal name bag tags with a ring included. I will attach these to their drawstring sports backpack/bags.

I’m keeping these labels handy in my top desk drawer. (If I forget I can consult this post.) For once, I will be prepared to label my kid’s belongings before they head off to another school year!
