Dominex Eggplant Veggie Burgers Review

The Dominex eggplant burgers come in an 11 oz. package of 4 burgers. This is an all natural vegan product. In addition to soy and spices, these are made with eggplant and its peel which contains photonutrients that have antioxidants. I really like them because I am trying to cut down on meat and eat a more plant-based diet, as well as watch calories. These are low in calories and fat, have 4 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein.

I never think to cook eggplant and was actually unsure if I would like the flavor. Surprisingly, I really like these burgers. The eggplant in combination with the soy and spices has a nice flavor. Some of the veggie burgers that I’ve tried have a strong soy flavor that I don’t care for, but these have a nice flavor and texture. You can pop these in the microwave for about a minute for a quick meal or cook them on the grill to add that char-grilled appearance and flavor.

I tried the fully cooked/frozen vegetarian meatballs also. These contain parm cheese, so they are not vegan. These are fantastic. I will dump the box of meatballs in the crockpot and add spaghetti sauce and let them cook on low for about an hour and they are done. I have them over spaghetti squash for a very low calorie, healthy and delicious meal.
