Now here’s a cheap summer activity for kids.
What you’ll need:
- One bored kid or more.
- A container of new sidewalk chalk.
- A sidewalk, driveway or in this case a stone wall.
Depending on the size of your stonewall, this could take a while!
Happy Wordless Wednesday!

Thanks for hosting – I look forward to checking this out!
That is such a fun idea!
I think it looks great!
Love it! =)
I wondered what a kid would do with those buckets of chalk I have seen, now I know, WaHoo!! Very clever!! Thanks for the linky, I am a new follower today!! # 18 up there!! Have a great week!
Kids are so creative! Once my son lined up all his cars from the front of the house to the back. He was preoccupied for a long, long time:)
OMG love it! Maybe they can come over to my house – I have a lot of concrete and stone pavers
hahaha so true! And looks how colourful that looks
What a great idea! I’d be sad though after all that work, when the rain washes it away lol.

Yes! I have a huge brick walkway that tends to keep the kids busy when I hand them a bucket of sidwalk chalk. Your brick wall looks great
That’s a great creative activity for the kids. Very decorative!
What a great idea! i bet the kids had a blast doing this.
That’s a good idea, actually. My boys like sidewalk chalk as it is, but if I gave them a tast to do with it, I bet they’d love it even more.
LOVE this idea….but I don’t have any bricks… I might have to go to store to get bricks JUST so I can do this! hahaha
