The very first person that I thought of when I received this product was my mother-in-law. For years now, she has used a dish towel on her counter to place just washed dishes on to drip dry. So, I gave her the Original Dish Drying Mat and her review is in! She says,

It really is such a practical, yet simple idea. The foam layer helps to anchor dishes and cushion delicate items like stemware. The mat is very absorbent as well. As you can see, it is a great match to my counter tops (although we do need new counter tops!) These mats are machine washable also.
