Schools often need to bring in extra money to fund school trips and programs. Otis Spunkmeyer offers a simple fundraising solution for schools and groups to raise money with items that everybody loves and understands: fresh-baked goods! I received the New Bake Up Brownie Rounds for this review and one Moms Own Words reader will win their own tub of brownie rounds!
Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser Brownie Rounds Review
The day I was making arrangements for this review, in an unrelated baking incident, I tried to make brownies for my son’s band concert bake sale. They looked fine out of the oven. Once I cut into them, they were messy globs, not suitable for a bake sale, but suitable for consumption by everyone in this house. Anyway, I wish I had these brownie rounds for that occasion. These would have been a big hit.
Preparation couldn’t be easier. Place each round in a greased muffin pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 16 minutes. How convenient! The brownies are already in individual servings.
They were moist and chocolaty. I love the added chocolate chips for that extra chocolate kick. They didn’t last long.
These make cute little individual brownies. With 36 rounds, there are plenty even for a bake sale.
They will keep frozen for up to one year. The individual rounds make for easy portion control too, just bake one serving at a time. Imagine topping a brownie round fresh out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mmmmmm!
We also sampled the Double Chocolate Chip brownies that arrived in an aluminum tin ready to serve. These were just thaw, eat and enjoy. I should have taken a third picture of the empty tin now that I think of it- suffice it to say, they were soooo good.
