Who doesn’t love a good pancake?
At my wedding shower, I received recipes from the guests written on recipe cards. This pancake recipe was given to me by my friend Christine. Christine if you are reading this, call me! On the card it reads, “Original recipe from Mrs. Roberston, village of Sorn, Aryshire, Scotland.
Kids will love these because they are very sweet! Despite that, mine still add plenty of syrup and butter.
3 heaped Tablespoons of flour (Use a large serving spoon (tablespoon) from your silverware.)
2 1/2 Tablespoons Castor Sugar (Use regular sugar. 🙂 and a measuring tablespoon.)
1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions -Mix first four ingredients and then add enough milk to make a cake batter consistency. (I used 3 Tablespoons of milk.)
Cook in a frying pan or griddle on low heat carefully. These can burn easily due to the extra sugar. This makes only about four rather small but thick pancakes, so double if needed. Enjoy!
