Carmex Lip Balm and Blanket Giveaway 9/8

Carmex proudly introduces two new flavors to their lip balm click sticks line – Lime Twist and Vanilla. We received these new click sticks, a stick of Carmex Moisture Plus lip balm and a cute picnic blanket in the kit shown above for review.  One Moms Own Words Reader will win the same kit because it’s a Carmex Lip Balm and Blanket giveaway!

The Review

My lips were pretty dry after spending a few days in the sun at the beach in Maine last week. I was glad to have the Carmex lip sticks waiting at home for me for this review. The lime twist and vanilla both have a nice flavor (I prefer the lime twist ) and after applying, I felt this little tingling sensation on my lips. My lips really felt moisturized for quite a while and with the SPF 15, they are protected from the sun’s damaging rays.  I believe the addition of three moisturizers not found in the Carmex original line really gives the new Lime and Vanilla click sticks a big boost in moisturizing.

The Carmex Moisture Plus clear is different from the other new click sticks in that it is appears to have the original carmex “flavor”, has the addition of aloe and Vitamin E and provides added shine.  While I liked this one a lot, I would love to try one with a hint of tint like the sheer berry.

and, as you can see, we like the picnic blanket and think you will too!
