About the Book – Love and Intuition. Copyright June 2010. Published by Llewellyn Publications.  ISBN – 978-0-7387-1555-1.

(From the book’s cover) Love, by its very nature, is profoundly spiritual – it brings out the intuitive side of all of us. By embracing your innate intuition and letting it expand, the love and joy you deserve will naturally flow right to you.

In this heartfelt and uplifting book, professional psychic Sherrie Dillard teaches you how to develop your personal love type-emotional, spiritual, mental, or physical – you can find out your spouse or partner’s love type and practice creative exercises, visualizations, and guided meditations to strengthen your relationship, heal rifts, get a better understanding of how your relate to each other, and deepen your connection.

The Review – Love and Intuition begins with nine steps to intuitive-love mastery, which includes accepting our natural intuition, the basics of receiving-imagining and interpreting our intuition, explaining how we intuit is how we love and how to embrace absolute love.  This is where the reader determines their personal love type- emotional, spiritual, mental, or physical.  What I quickly learned is that developing one’s intuition is a process.  I wasn’t going to be better tuned into my own intuition just by reading this book, the author explains that it is something to be experienced through exercises and meditations.

The author teaches that, “intuition is so intertwined within our relationships that we seldom recognize it.  Yet we all have an invisible support system that is always observing, guiding, and steering us toward our highest good, even when we are not conscious of it.  As you become more conscious of your intuition, you will find that it has a purposeful and important task in your life. ”

To develop  intuition for use in relationships, one must become aware of our ever-present and innate intuition.  To begin the process, the author recommends keeping an intuition journal, which will provide insight into our intuitive strengths, weaknesses, and overall intuitive development progress.  Documenting intuitive experiences in a journal would seem to be the most important step to developing one’s intuition.

Once you have read and experienced the nine steps to intuitive-love mastery, the author teaches through examples, exercises and meditations, how to heal and transform yourself, others and your relationships using your intuition. According to the author,  “love is energy” and “being  able to intuitively tune in to the flow of love energy between you and another will help you to stay centered.”

The book is chock-full of stories from the author’s clients that teach about attraction, fidelity, passion, intimacy and sex.  She reveals loving and powerful exercises meant to strengthen intimacy and the intuition-love connection between partners.

The book includes a final series of chapters on obtaining help developing intuition from the ethereal realm, including relating to loved ones on the other side, loving like the angels, and how our spirit guides are a constant source of energy.  I found these chapters fascinating – I tried the meditation called “Spirit Island” to help increase my intuitive connection with my loved ones in spirit.

This book will teach you how to develop your intuition to attract and sustain love. I recommend this book for those who seek to deepen their own spiritual understanding and connection to intuition.

I have always believed in my intuition – I think there are certain people that really know how to read other people and know how they are feeling. And I think your gut/heart/mind just knows things sometimes!
